One of the Tieguanyin tea benefits is its positive effects on your skin. Like other oolong tea, Tieguanyin tea contains antioxidants known as polyphenols, and the anti-allergenic properties of these polyphenols can relieve certain skin problems.
In a Japanese study, researchers asked patients who suffer from a skin condition known as eczema to drink three cups of oolong tea per day (one cup after each meal) in addition to their regular dermatological treatment. More than half of the patients started to experience beneficial effects on their condition after a week of two. After one month, 63% of patients showed improvement in their skin condition. About 54% of patients experienced long-lasting beneficial effect even after six months. - Quote from Your Tea Headquarters.

Dragon Well
Longjing tea is a variety of green tea that is commonly called ‘Dragon Well tea’ and is prepared by hand by heating in large pans or woks. This type of green tea is roasted soon after being picked, which stops the oxidation process, similar to most other green tea varieties. By stopping the oxidation process, this type of tea is able to retain a very high concentration of antioxidants, catechins, and other polyphenolic compounds. This highly sought-after tea has a surprisingly high level of caffeine, almost the same as a cup of coffee, but there are other active ingredients that can simultaneously soothe the body. This specialty tea has a mildly astringent taste, similar to other green teas, but it is light yellow in color, rather than the yellow-green color of most other similar teas.
The top benefits of this tea include its effect on the following:
- Weight management
- Anticancer Potential
- Relief from symptoms of stress and anxiety
- Lower risk of heart ailments

The resulting flavor of jasmine tea is subtly sweet and highly fragrant. It is the most famous scented tea in China. Our Jasmine tea has a green tea base making it light and refreshing.

Taiwan High Mountain
Tea lovers drink High Mountain Tea not just for its great health benefits, blending the virtues of green tea and black tea into one, but more so for its soothing, floral and sometimes fruity aroma, coupled with its unique tastes that is both relaxing and uplifting at the same time. The steep mountain terrains and small labour-intensive farms mean the harvest is always small. For these reasons to find quality High Mountain Tea is difficult especially with the strong demand from within Taiwan itself.
Daniel Reid, the master of Zen tea, describes High Mountain Tea: A semi-oxidized tea that retains all the nutritional value and natural healing properties contained in unoxidized green tea, but without the raw grassy taste and the harsh impact on the stomach. The brief oxidation transform the raw elements of green tea and creates a floral bouquet of fragrance and flavor that distinguishes High Mountain Oolong from all other varieties of tea. The cultivation and appreciation of High Mountain Oolong tea is somewhat similar to fine wine, with each plantation and each mountain producing its own unique bouquet of flavors, and each year's harvest yielding its own special character.
Yerba Mate
The flavor of brewed mate resembles an infusion of vegetables, herbs, and grass and is reminiscent of some varieties of green tea. Some consider the flavor to be very agreeable, but it is generally bitter if steeped in hot water. Sweetened and flavored mate is also sold, in which the mate leaves are blended with other herbs (such as peppermint) or citrus rind. The proper brewing for Mate is that the water is at a temperature of 70–80 °C (158–176 °F), hot but not boiling.
Yerba mate has been claimed to have various effects on human health, most of which have been attributed to the high quantity of polyphenols found in the beverage. Research has found that yerba mate may improve allergy symptoms and reduce the risk of diabetes mellitus and high blood sugar in mice.
Mate also contains compounds that may act as an appetite suppressant and possible weight loss tool, increases mental energy and focus, improves mood, and promotes deeper sleep; however, sleep may be negatively affected in people who are sensitive to caffeine.
White Tea
White tea may refer to one of several styles of tea which generally feature young or minimally processed leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant.
Some sources use the term to refer to tea that is merely dried with no additional processing, some to tea made from the buds and immature tea leaves picked shortly before the buds have fully opened and allowed to wither and dry in natural sun, while others include tea buds and very young leaves which have been steamed or fired before drying. Most definitions agree, however, that white tea is not rolled or oxidized, resulting in a flavor characterized as "lighter" than most green or traditional black teas.
In spite of its name, sweet, brewed white tea is pale yellow.
Its name derives from the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds of the tea plant, which give the plant a whitish appearance. The unopened buds are used for some types of white tea.
